The CNRS is recruiting 59 Junior Professorships (CPJ) in a wide range of scientific fields, from sustainable metallurgy and artificial intelligence to open science and the habitability of the Earth.
This year, the CNRS is opening 59 junior professorships with an 'entry package' entitling the holder to tenure in the body of research directors at the end of the contract. These 59 professorships correspond to 47 new professorships opened for the first time in 2025, in addition to 12 professorships opened in previous years but which the CNRS had decided not to fill due to a lack of applications judged sufficiently convincing by the juries.
Applications are open from 20 May 2025 to 14 July 2025, 23:59 Paris time.
