Special Green Deal call: Opportunity to propose amendments (before 28/05), consultation on themes (3/06) and identification of projects of interest to AMU.

The Green Deal call will be the last major funding opportunity - €1 billion is expected - before the end of the H2020 programme.

This call is part of the European Green Deal, the overall objective of which is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 at European level.

For AMU, it is an opportunity to obtain structuring projects to consolidate our research in the field through ITEM but also through units outside ITEM contributing to the objectives of the call (SHS, sciences and technologies, health, economics-law-management).

 

There are two important deadlines for you to influence and position yourself on the various topics in this appeal

Before 28 May: by modifying the call draft using the Word modification tracking tool and in English. (attachment)
Before 2 June: by completing the internal AMU questionnaire
Your changes to the draft will be taken into account by the French representative on the H2020 Programme Committee in negotiations between Member States and the European Commission.

 

Your answers to the internal questionnaire will serve as the basis for :

A response from AMU to the consultation launched by the European Commission
Lobbying the Brussels office directly with the Commission departments in charge of this call and possibly drafting an AMU Position Paper on the Green Deal call before its adoption in September 2020.
Targeted support from the DRV, the Brussels office and Protisvalor for teams applying for this call for proposals (advice, European networking and project preparation).

Projects can be submitted between October 2020 and January 2021.
