As part of its 2026 action plan, the ANR is proposing a programme specifically dedicated to improving France's success rate in ERC calls for proposals, entitled « Tremplin-ERC »(T-ERC). The T-ERC programme is open to all disciplines (LS, PE, SH, according to ERC categories).
The Tremplin-ERC programme aims to :
- Encouraging scientific excellence by supporting candidates with very high-level applications.
- Strengthen French participation and increase France's success rate in future ERC calls.
This call Tremplin-ERC Consolidator Grant (T-ERC CoG) is aimed at French or foreign researchers who are attached to a French public research body and who have not obtained funding under the «T-ERC CoG" call for proposals.« Consolidator grants »This was despite the quality of their project (ranked A at the end of the second selection stage).
The aim of this call is to help them improve their proposal so that they can submit a new application to the ERC Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant or Advanced Grant call with the best chances of success. Researchers from all scientific fields and research disciplines are welcome to apply. Selected projects will receive funding of up to €116,000 (€102,202 in direct costs) for a period of 24 months.
The ANR has taken a number of steps to ensure that decisions are taken quickly and that funding is in place. The dossier to be submitted is simplified and based essentially on the application documents previously sent to the ERC.
A tool to promote scientific excellence and the attractiveness of France The Tremplin-ERC programme is part of the national action plan to improve French participation in European funding schemes for research and innovation. Its aim is to increase France's international scientific influence and attractiveness.
