ITEM plans to finance 2 structuring projects, lasting a maximum of 36 months, in line with the Institute's themes. Particular attention will be paid to subjects related to risks or the "sobriety" approach. The interdisciplinary nature of the projects should reflect a genuine approach to co-constructing scientific questions.
ITEM has a proactive and innovative partnership policy which allows the co-financing of grants for theses or post-docs. The AAP timetable has been adapted accordingly.
Each project is also expected to include a multi-faceted educational initiative, aimed at at least two Masters courses and/or doctoral schools, with a view to raising interdisciplinary awareness.
BUDGET
Each project can apply for up to two grants: 2 post-doctoral grants of a maximum of 1.5 years each or 1 doctoral grant of 3 years and 1 post-doctoral grant of a maximum of 1.5 years.
Operating grants of up to €35K can be used to fund BIATSS posts (outside BAP J).
In the event of co-financing, the operating part will be topped up to a total of €65K.
