The European Polar Research Programme has just been finalised.
It is the major deliverable of the EU-PolarNet project, which will be completed in June 2020. The CNRS and the French Polar Institute were partners on the French side of the project, with the CNRS coordinating the project's 'science' workpackage.
The recommendations drawn up in this programme, and also expressed in the white papers, should largely inspire the programming of polar research within the "Horizon Europe" framework programme.
The CNRS made a major contribution to the preparation of this document, both in terms of drafting the chapters and in terms of proofreading and editorial coordination.
