Experimentation and Instrumentation 2022 workshop, from 28/06 to 01/07 in Montpellier

The AEI brings together engineers, technicians and researchers specialising in instrumental development to discuss measurement, methodology, design and production, implementation and innovation. Given their new vocation to cover all instrumental activities at the INSU, the AEI are now extended to the INSU's four scientific fields: Astronomy-Astrophysics, Ocean-Atmosphere, Surfaces and Continental Interfaces, Solid Earth.

For this 2022 edition of AEI, 5 themes have been identified:

- Participatory measures,

- On-board processing,

- Transmissions,

- Additive manufacturing,

- Ethics and environmental footprint.

Please note that it is also possible to submit contributions on topics other than those mentioned above.

A sixth session will present the projects funded by the INSU's DIIRO (Innovative Instrumental Developments for Research and Observation Directorate) over the last two years. And a seventh session will allow industrialists to present their activities in 180 seconds.

Participation in AEI 2022 is free, but registration is compulsory. Deadline for entries is 3 June 2022 via the website dedicated to this event:  https://atelexpinst2022.sciencesconf.org/

The deadline for submitting contributions (posters) is 27 May 2022. Each poster will be introduced by a flash presentation lasting a few minutes.

Session descriptions, format, registration, submission of poster abstracts and the AEI 2022 calendar are now available from https://atelexpinst2022.sciencesconf.org/

The MIO will be able to support the missions of some ITAs (without a researcher share) at this event. Please pass on any requests to your team leaders.
