IFQM managers kick off tour with first stop at MIO in Marseille

On 23 September 2019, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, the steering committee, comprising Guillaume Saint-Onge (director of the RQM and professor at UQAR) and Yves-Marie Paulet (Vice-President for the Sea at UBO), as well as the two coordinators Sarah Granier and Coralie Pauchet, met with the management of the MIO and teacher-researchers from the MIO to discuss potential cooperation projects (research-training-innovation) between France and Quebec in the field of oceanography. They also visited the MIO facilities.
The Institut France-Québec pour la coopération scientifique en appui au secteur maritime (IFQM) will soon be celebrating three years of activity. Its aim is to bring together and coordinate key players in maritime research, innovation and higher education on both sides of the Atlantic, in the form of a network. To this end, the IFQM helps to facilitate the setting up of projects in the maritime sector between France and Quebec and to boost scientific cooperation at national and international level.
