On Tuesday 21 May, as part of the MIO's Doctoral Students' Day, 7 PhD students gave a three-minute presentation on their thesis topics. They were :
- Floriane SCHREIBER (MIO/OPLCONERA/DEMR): "Estimating sea conditions using radar imagery".
- Quentin-Boris BARRAL (OPLC): "A Bermuda Triangle in the Mediterranean? "
- Nicolas LAYGLON (CEM): "Behaviour of trace metals during resuspension experiments in laboratory with sediment from 3 different harbours".
- Isaac SANOU (CEM): "Detection and monitoring by real-time fluorescence spectroscopy of organic and biological matter in coastal environments".
- Christopher BUROT (CEM/MEB): "Study of the degradation of ice algae in the Arctic: impact of the physiological state of bacteria associated with this material on its preservation and its contribution to sediments".
- Julie HARDY (MEB): "Analyse métatranscriptomique durant la digestion anaérobie : Du développement du pipeline bioinformatique à l'étude d'un cas d'application".
- Guillermo FELIU (EMBIO): "Structure and functioning of epipelagic mesozooplankton in the Mediterranean sea".
