OGA - The Genetic Atlas of the Ocean

The Genetic Atlas of the Ocean is a web service that lets you explore the biogeography of the genes of marine planktonic organisms.

It allows users to query protein or nucleotide sequences against global ocean reference gene catalogues.

With a single click, the abundance and location of target sequences are displayed on world maps, along with their taxonomic distribution. Interactive results panels can be used to adjust alignment quality thresholds and display gene abundance in the context of environmental characteristics (temperature, nutrients, etc.) measured at the time of sampling.
