On 09 February, the MIO welcomed David Gremillet, ornithologist and oceanographer, director of research at the Centre d'études biologiques de Chizé (CEBC).

He came to Marseilles for a study on the Yelkouan Shearwater and gave a presentation on his work and the CEBC.

David Gremillet is also the author of a number of books, including a biography of Daniel Pauly published by Wildproject, which was presented at Daniel's visit last September.
