Online event: discover AMU's institutes of establishment

Interdisciplinarity, educational innovation, expertise in responding to societal challenges: take part in 3 virtual round tables to find out more about the 16 institutes created to date, their concrete actions and the strengths they represent for the region.

This digital event, broadcast from a television set on the Luminy campus, gives local players and the university community an opportunity to discover the unique nature of the institutes and their positioning on the Aix-Marseille site.

 

3 round tables, introduced by University President Eric Berton and coordinated by Vice-President Maryline Crivello: in three 20-minute sessions, representatives of the institutes and socio-economic partners will review the key issues around which the institutes are positioning themselves: the challenges of interdisciplinarity, sharing expertise, research and innovation, the attractiveness of university courses, links with the region, meeting societal challenges, supporting decision-makers in times of multiple crises.

Aix-Marseille Université's institutional institutes are the fruit of an interdisciplinary approach that draws on the university's laboratories, faculties and schools, as well as its socio-economic partners, to strengthen its international outlook. Aware of the central role it plays in its region, Aix-Marseille University is constantly striving to modernise its practices, to the benefit of all. It is committed to interdisciplinarity and innovation to promote the development of the Aix-Marseille site. There are now 16 university institutes, based on the international Graduate School model, combining teaching and high-level research.
