Drifting buoys released during oceanographic cruise Peacetime have contributed to MedSVP (Mediterranean Surface Velocity Program). Analysis of this valuable dataset has provided new information on circulation in the Sicilian Channel and the South Tyrrhenian Sea. (Menna et al, 2019).
