The 14th Journées Scientifiques de l'Université de Toulon will be held at the Palais Neptune in Toulon on 26 and 27 April 2022.

Eight events will cover a broad spectrum of the disciplines offered by the University, grouped around its Mediterranean Societies and Marine Sciences identity, and its three thematic clusters: Exchanges and Societies in the Mediterranean (ESMED), Sea, Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD) and Information, Digital, Prevention, Health (INPS). They will bring together speakers from all over France and abroad.

Many of our MIO colleagues are taking part.

A new feature this year is the presentation of all the research laboratories and scientific platforms through an exhibition of stands.

There will also be a lecture for the general public on Tuesday 26 April at 6.30pm on the theme of "Puits de science", given by Jean-Marc Levy-Leblond, physicist, philosopher of science and essayist.

Since their inception in 2006, the Journées Scientifiques de l'Université de Toulon have pursued two objectives: to make the trans-disciplinary research carried out at the University of Toulon visible and understandable, and to encourage exchanges between researchers, students and socio-economic players. They promote recognition of the quality of our academic teaching, the socio-professional integration of our users and the development of cooperation between industry and researchers in our region and internationally.

They are being carried out with the support of the Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée metropolitan area, the Var département and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
