The sailing boat Persévérance (PolarPOD project) will be in Nice for the Ocean Science Congress and the United Nations Conference on the Ocean (UNOC3), from 3 at 15 June 2025.
Equipped with sampling resources and a wide range of scientific instruments - ADCP, sun photometer, ferrybox, C-DOM fluorometer, weather station, among others - it welcomes on board an active collaboration between several researchers and institutions, such as the Roscoff Biological Station, the National Observation Service, the University of Lille and the University of Maine.
If you would like to visit the boat, find out more about the project's scientific objectives or take part in the discussions on the next oceanographic campaigns (Arctic, Transpacific, then Antarctic), you are warmly invited to join this collective dynamic.
Any person or organisation interested in contributing to or becoming actively involved in the scientific and operational synergy of the project is welcome.
