The event One health - Health and the ocean from 20 at 22 June 2025 at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrieA programme of exhibitions, creative workshops, inspiring scientific encounters, participatory science and sensitive stories... A whole programme to question our imaginations and cross our views during convivial moments combining art, science, mystery and travel.
It's against this backdrop that Fanny and Pauline, two researchers from the Institut Méditerranéen d'Océanologie (MIO), are offering you a participatory science trail and an immersive experience of the deep ocean in different spaces. As part of their interdisciplinary work, they are studying our relationship with the ocean.
You will be guided on a sensory and scientific journey, then invited to answer a questionnaire, which requires no specific knowledge, to share your opinion and advance research in the humanities and social sciences.
Underwater photography, reflections on the deep ocean, an interview with a scientific submarine pilot, animal melodies and bioluminescent bacteria!
To take part, all you have to do is be aged 18 or over and live in the Paris Region.
The experience is not suitable for people with severe visual or hearing impairments. The event is estimated to last around 1 hour 15 minutes.
