The deadline for submitting proposals has been extended to Thursday 16 July 2026 at 12:00.

The General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 20 October 2026 all day and Wednesday 21 October in the morning.

The scientific symposium marking ILICO’s 10th anniversary will take place from Wednesday 21st at midday at Friday 23 October 2026, and will focus on the findings and challenges of ten years’ research based on long-term observational data from littoral and coastal environments in mainland France, the overseas territories and internationally. The conference will conclude on Friday 23 October 2026 at midday. These events are open to everyone, subject to registration. Registration will open in the summer of 2026.

The conference will be organised around sessions focusing on the IR’s history, featuring scientific presentations and posters, as well as invited talks (i.e. testimonials from partners and members of governing bodies).

We look forward to receiving your proposals for papers to contribute to the following scientific sessions:

  • Climate change (e.g. heatwaves, global warming, ocean acidification, the response of biological communities, sea-level rise, coastal erosion)
  • Anthropogenic pressures (e.g. eutrophication, land-based inputs)
  • Extreme events (e.g. storms, floods)
  • Innovative methodological approaches (e.g. eDNA, omics, imaging, satellite technology, AI and machine learning, autonomous sensors)
  • «Blanc» (open session with no specific theme)

Papers may relate to any long-term series that has now been accredited, even if it was established prior to 2016–2026. The selection of papers for oral presentations or posters will be based on an abstract to be submitted by 16 July 2026 to the Scientific Organising Committee of this conference.

The conference is open to all members of the ILICO Research Institute, from researchers and students to engineers and technicians, as well as the entire community of users of data from its accredited services. Contributions and presentations will be in French. The research papers presented at the conference will be compiled into an edited volume to be published in 2027.
