First Interdisciplinary Conference on Marine Sciences organised by the Ocean and Seas Research Group (GdR OMER)

The Seas and Oceans Research Group (Groupement de Recherche Mers et Océan - GdR OMER) aims to bring together scientists from a wide range of backgrounds, using a cross-disciplinary, interdisciplinary approach. The aim is to respond to the need to characterise, anticipate and support the changes facing the Ocean today, as part of long-term prospective research.

On 25 and 26 January 2023, the first "Journées interdisciplinaires des sciences de la mer du Groupement de Recherche Océan et Mers (GdR OMER)" will be held in Paris at the CNRS headquarters.
These two days will provide an opportunity to present the various interdisciplinary working groups (WGs) that currently make up the OMER GdR. They will present the philosophy of each WG. These days of scientific exchange will also be an opportunity to discuss together possible proposals for new Working Groups for the OMER GdR.
The conference will take place at the CNRS Gérard Mégie Campus, in the Marie Curie auditorium, subject to availability.
Registration is free but must be done in person before Monday 16 January 2023.
