Deadline for submitting applications: 19 June 2026.
Established in 2021 as part of the public policy promoting «science with and for society» introduced by the Research Planning Act of 24 December 2020 for the years 2021–2030, the Science Communication Medals are open to all those involved in research. In 2026, they will be co-organised by the CNRS and France Universités, alongside new partners this year: the CEA, Ifremer, INRAE, Inserm, the Institut Pasteur and the IRD.
The medals are awarded to projects that promote scientific culture, address major societal issues and pass on the knowledge generated by research laboratories.
Three categories of medals are available:
- «Knowledge dissemination»,
- «Knowledge sharing»,
- «Co-creation of knowledge».
The medals for scientific mediation are a form of recognition; they bring national visibility to the winning projects, but are not a grant.
Aix-Marseille University may submit up to a maximum of five applications.
Applications should therefore be sent to culture-scientifique@univ-amu.fr and no later than 19 June 2026.
