Deadline for proposals: 23 August 2026 – 23:59 CEST.
In partnership with France Fisheries Sectorthe FRB calls on the scientific community to submit projects to CESAB aimed at analysing, synthesise and model existing data in order to quantify how the interactions between these multiple pressures affect the biodiversity of marine ecosystems, including exploited populations in the North-East Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the functioning of the associated ecosystems.
One project will be funded under this call for proposals, for a period of three years, including, amongst other things, the recruitment of a postdoctoral researcher for a period of 26 months, the organisation of five working group meetings at Cesab, and logistical, technical and administrative support.
Members of a Cesab project pool their scientific expertise, available data and modelling tools in order to address a wide range of questions on biodiversity, across all spatial and temporal scales. Comprising a maximum of 12 experts, the working groups must be coordinated by a recognised scientist affiliated with a French research organisation.
