The South Region offers a funding scheme for doctoral students, giving them access to a three-year job to complete their doctoral thesis (Emploi Jeune Doctorant EJD). This scheme, which focuses on economic development and employment support, is strongly geared towards projects carried out in partnership with companies and closely linked to strategic sectors.
1. Framework of the 2022-2025 call for projects
The elements of the call for projects will be available by Friday 7 January 2022 at the latest on the Aix-Marseille Université website: https://www.univ-amu.fr/fr/intramu/emploi-jeunes-doctorants
2. How to submit your application
The application form, duly completed and signed (except for the signature of the President of the University on p.1) must be sent (Word + PDF format) no later than 12 noon on Monday 07 February 2022 to the Direction de la Formation Doctorale (DFD) by e-mail to the following address administration-doctorat@univ-amu.fr for instruction.
If a research unit submits several applications, please provide a ranking of the proposed projects.
All applications that do not follow this procedure will be declared inadmissible.
3. Examination of applications within Aix-Marseille University
The Doctoral College will work with the doctoral schools to rank the applications before they are submitted to the Research Committee at the beginning of March 2022.
