Blue Economy" thesis prize from the Comité France Maritime

The Comité France Maritime has decided to create an annual thesis prize to reward the best academic work recently carried out in the field of the blue economy. This prize will aim to give visibility to the concept of the blue economy, to encourage research in this field and to bring together the world of research and the economic sphere.

With a prize of 5,000 euros, this prize will be awarded for the first time during the Assises de l'économie de la mer, which will be held in Nice on 14 and 15 September 2021. For this first edition, eligible theses must have been defended between January 1, 2019 and May 31, 2021.

For example, theses dealing with areas such as

the exploitation of natural resources
environmental issues,
management of coastal areas,
territorial planning,
maritime transport,
seaports,
cyber security,
economic intelligence...

The theses examined fall within the vast field of human and social sciences. Those with an interdisciplinary character are also relevant, including those mixing humanities and social sciences disciplines with natural or exact sciences.
