Scientific results - CNRS Terre & Univers
A new study involving scientists from CNRS Terre et Univers and published in mSystems, shows that the thawing of Arctic soils does not fully activate microbial life. In fact, around half of the micro-organisms present in these soils remain dormant, even after several months of thawing.
