The comic Depths – The Secrets of the Deep Sea, (under the direction of Sophie Gambardella, Pascale Ricard from DICE & by Séverine Martini of the MIO) published in 2025 at CNRS Publications was selected in the “Science Communication” category of the Étoiles Bleues Literary Prize.
This award, the only one of its kind in France, invites the general public to immerse themselves in the world of the ocean through reading, and also to vote for the books in the running.
Novels, essays, comic books, children’s books or scientific works: the Prize Blue Stars celebrates the richness and diversity of works inspired by the maritime world. Its aim is clear: to bring people closer to the world of the sea and raise awareness of ocean-related issues through the joy of reading.
