2019 LEFE-GMMC Scientific Days - OceanObs19

12 June 2019 to 14 June 2019

We inform you that the 2019 LEFE-GMMC Scientific Days will be held in TOULON from 12 to 13 June 2019. As always, these days are open to the entire French oceanographic community .

This year 2019, the days will have as their main theme the next OceanObs19 (OO19) Conference  to be held in Honolulu from 16 to 20 September 2019.

The OO19 conference focuses on ocean observation in all scientific fields where it is present (oceanography, climate, meteorology, environment, ecology, SHS, health, etc.), and its interest goes beyond the framework of INSU alone. OO19 is aimed at researchers in the academic field, but also at organisations involved in the use of marine environments.

The various French communities are very involved in the drafting of the White Papers for this conference, and the days will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, inform and, we hope, encourage coordination of the French presence at this important conference, where what will be accomplished will have a lasting influence on the evolution of ocean observation networks.

Remember the date and place: Toulon; June 12, 13 and 14, 2019.

Further information on the organisation and scientific programme of the GMMC 2019 Days will be sent to you shortly.
