As part of the PEPR Grands Fonds Marins programme, the ODATIS Ocean cluster of IR Data Terra is organising a technical workshop on the management of data from life and Earth sciences samples. The objectives of this workshop are as follows:

• To present the various methods and techniques involved in the life cycle of data from samples, from banking to distribution.
• Discussions in thematic groups to identify ways of improving sample data management and prioritise them in order to implement the PEPR Grands Fonds Marins action plan.
• Creation of follow-up working groups to continue the discussions initiated at this workshop and monitor developments (groups with regular meetings thereafter).

Location Face-to-face at the Salon de l'océan, Ifremer, Plouzané. A videoconference will be organised for certain sessions on the 1st day.
