Every year, ILICO organises a symposium around its Annual General Meeting to discuss and reflect on cross-disciplinary scientific issues relating to the coastal sector.

In 2025, the Colloquium will be held in Boulogne-sur-Mer on the premises of the Boulonnais Conurbation Community (CAB) at 1, bd du Bassin Napoléon BP 755 62321 Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Scientific conference sequence

The conference Long term coastal in situ observation from automated platforms of small temporal and spatial scales (from Wednesday 29 October 2025 1pm at 31 October 2025 1 pm) will look at the data acquired by high-frequency observation and monitoring programmes (from the sub-weekly to the sub-hourly scale), their processing and their use. This event is open to the international community working on these issues and will be conducted in English.

The call for abstracts is open until 11 July 2025. Registration (free and compulsory) is open until 3 October 2025but please note that places are limited.
