The University of Toulon is organising a day dedicated to sustainable development and social and environmental responsibility on Thursday 5 December 2024 from 9am to 5pm in the Y building.

The morning will focus on fair trade and sustainable food, with a series of talks and presentations on local initiatives, followed by a tasting of fresh local produce.

The theme of the event is "Fair Trade in support of the Sustainable Development Goals", and it will provide an opportunity to discover the principles of fair trade and explore the issues surrounding climate change. It is also part of the promotion of the national "Fair Trade University" label, obtained in 2020 by the University of Toulon, the first French university to receive this distinction.

The afternoon will be devoted to the themes of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (SD/CSR), with lectures, screenings and discussions on building a sustainable future.
