On April 26 and 27, 2022 will take place the 14th Scientific Days of the University of Toulon, in the Neptune Palace of Toulon

Eight events will cover a broad spectrum of disciplinary fields offered at the University, grouped around its identity axis Mediterranean Societies and Marine Sciences, and its three thematic clusters: Exchanges and Societies in the Mediterranean (ESMED), Sea, Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD) and Information, Digital, Prevention, Health (INPS). They will bring together speakers from all over France and abroad.

Our colleagues of the MIO participate in many of them.

This year is marked by a novelty: the presentation of all the research laboratories and scientific platforms through an exhibition of stands.

A conference for the general public will also be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. on the theme "Puits de science" presented by Jean-Marc Levy-Leblond, physicist, philosopher of science and essayist.

The Scientific Days of the University of Toulon have had two objectives since their inception in 2006: to make visible and understandable the transdisciplinary research of the University of Toulon, and to promote exchanges between researchers, students and socio-economic actors. They promote the recognition of the quality of our academic teaching, the socio-professional integration of our users and the development of cooperation between industrialists and researchers in our region and internationally.

They are carried out with the support of the Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée metropolitan area, the Var department and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
