Call for applications 2020 for invited researchers

12 November 2019

The 2020 call for applications for invited researchers is open. Here is some information about the procedure:

Requests can come from a laboratory, a thematic cluster or a component,
This year, the thematic centres are encouraged to submit 2 requests for invitations each to initiate new collaborations related to the institution's strategic axes only. The objective is both to increase international openness with institutions for which no formal cooperation has been established so far, but also to strengthen our research identity.
The selected guests receive a daily allowance of 130 €,
The duration of each stay is 14 days, this duration may be extended to 21 days if justified,
The following criteria should be taken into account in the files:

Quality of the scientific dossier of the proposed visitor,
Consistency with the laboratory's research project,
In case of renewal, effectiveness of the previous invitation,
Contribution of the proposed invitation to the sustainable and structured international relations that the university wishes to promote,
Contribution in terms of the attractiveness of our teaching and essentially of our Masters courses: proposal for educational intervention, in particular in a foreign language (possibly non-disciplinary intervention).

The dossier will be presented by the laboratory, the thematic cluster or the component and will include the following documents:

Scientific review of 2019 invitations, if applicable,
Signed summary table of 2020 requests,
Report of the board that establishes the ranking,
Invitation request signed for each guest with the project description,
