CNES is organizing a coastal altimetry day on March 17: MIO colleagues will speak at the event

Anne Petrenko, MIO-OPLC ("Edge current by altimetry at JULIO, off Marseille") and Anne Molcard, MIO-OPCL or Alejandro Caceres-Euse (Fusion of High-Frequency radar & Altrimetry data to retreive geostrophic veocity at coastal region) will speak.  This COMET Coastal Altimetry Day aims to review the state of the art of coastal dynamics observation using Nadir altimetry. The analysis of Nadir altimetry capabilities will be completed by the analysis of ground-based means and will be evaluated in ocean models. The user need will be widely presented and discussed. The focus will be on information to measure mainly ocean dynamics, sea level, currents, and sea state. You can now register online for this next COMET coastal altimetry
