Conference: Like a fish in art Art and aquatic biodiversity of the past

BiodivOc and its partners offer a new program for the "Regards croisés sur le vivant en société" cycle in 2023-2024, with eight lectures offered every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30pm to 7:30pm between October 2023 and May 2024. The lectures will take place in person at the MSH and will be broadcast live.

The next conference will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the auditorium of the MSH Montpellier with a live broadcast from the MSHSUD.

Daniel FAGET, Thomas CHANGEUX, and Anne-Sophie TRIBOT explore the evolution of our imaginations over time, and question our relationship with aquatic worlds through aesthetic experience. This dialogue between history, ecology and environmental psychology is an invitation to discover representations of life underwater, at the crossroads of art and science.
