FAP Review n°6: Environment and Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia

Publication of the 6th issue of the journal Francophonie Asie Pacifique entitled "Environment and Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia", edited by AMU, IFI and IRD and prepared and edited by Emilie Strady (MIO -CEM), Alexis Drogoul (IRD, Vietnam Representative) and Nguyen Thai Huyen (HAU, Vietnam)
This issue is important: conceived in line with IRD's regional roadmap in Asia, it lists a set of works carried out by IRD and its partners in Southeast Asia and allows us to measure their diversity but also their coherence, which we have tried to underline in the introduction.

A certain number of copies will be sent to the IRD in Marseille and Hanoi. From there, we will try to send them to all the representations in Asia. You will find the complete issue in PDF at this address (please inform your co-authors, as I did not put everyone in the mail loop):

Short Abstract - Southeast Asia today faces considerable challenges in its development trajectory, the most important of which are related to health and infectious diseases, environmental pollution, which has become a concern for the majority of the population, climate and environmental change, increasing inequalities in access to resources, and food security. This issue of the journal FAP aims to highlight, in its scientific, developmental but also francophone dimensions, the long-term interdisciplinary research work, mixing environment, health and social sciences, conducted by IRD researchers and their partners in Southeast Asia.
