Identify bottlenecks as hubs of the ocean circulation transport system

An international scientific team, in which our colleague Vincent Rossi participated, has just developed a new method of analysis of fluid flows in the ocean inspired by the network theory. This method makes it possible to highlight the existence of bottlenecks in the ocean circulation and thus to better understand the transport of water masses and the dispersion of organisms living in them, especially plankton.
