MIO: instructions concerning the coronavirus

Dear colleagues,

It is important that anyone returning from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea and the Lombardy and Veneto regions of Italy please let me know. They will be able to telework for 14 days after their departure from these countries and strictly apply the following instructions:

 Wear a surgical mask when you are in front of another person and when you have to go out;

o Wash your hands regularly or use a hydro-alcoholic solution;

o Workers/Students: as far as possible, avoid close contacts (meetings, lifts, canteen...) ;

o Monitor your temperature twice a day;

o Monitor for symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, difficulty breathing...) ;

o Avoid any contact with fragile people (pregnant women, chronically ill, elderly people...);

o Avoid frequenting places where frail people are present (hospitals, maternity wards, retirement homes, etc.);

o Avoid all non-essential outings (large gatherings, restaurants, cinema...).

o Children, junior high school and high school students should not be sent to nursery, school, college or high school, given the difficulty of wearing a mask all day long.

In case of fever or sensation of fever, cough, difficulty breathing :

o Quickly contact the SAMU centre 15 and report the trip ;

o Avoid any contact with your entourage and keep your mask ;

o Do not go directly to the doctor or to the hospital emergency room.
