Online Event: Discover AMU's Institutional Institutes

Interdisciplinarity, pedagogical innovations, expertise to meet societal challenges: around 3 virtual round tables, discover the 16 institutes of establishment created to date, their concrete actions and the strengths they represent for the territory.

This digital event, broadcast from a television set on the Luminy campus, offers local stakeholders and the university community the opportunity to discover the uniqueness of the institutes and their positioning on the Aix-Marseille site.

3 round tables, introduced by the President of the university Eric Berton and coordinated by the Vice-President Maryline Crivello: In three 20-minute sessions, representatives of institutes and socio-economic partners will review the key issues around which the institutes are positioned: the challenges of interdisciplinarity, the sharing of expertise, research and innovation, the attractiveness of university training, the links with the territory, the response to societal issues, and the accompaniment of decision-makers in times of multiple crises

Aix-Marseille University's institutional institutes are the result of an interdisciplinary approach based on the university's laboratories, faculties and schools, as well as on its socio-economic partners, in order to strengthen its international outlook. Aware of the central role it plays in its territory, Aix-Marseille University constantly strives to modernize its practices in order to serve everyone. A recent university initiative, now numbering 16, the institutes are structured around the international model of the "Graduate School", combining teaching and high-level research.
