The WG The ocean and the heritage process (O2P) is pleased to send you the programme for its 2025 interdisciplinary study day, organised by the UMR CIRED-EHESS, which will be held on the Condorcet campus of the EHESS (Aubervilliers) on 3 December 2025 from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on the theme : The sea without value: sacrificing, protecting, heritage.

Discussions will focus on two sessions:

• Sacrificed« marine areas (AM)
• The limits of the heritage process: invisibility of traces & «sensitive heritage» (PM)

The speakers will present their disciplinary and/or professional insights (25-minute papers), which will then be used to fuel interdisciplinary discussions with the audience.
