3rd National Methane Conference

17 November 2026 – 8.00 am - 18 November 2026 – 5.00 pm

The 3rd edition of the National Methane Days is being held in Paris over two half-days on 17 and 18 November 2026, with a view to bringing together the French scientific communities working on methane, as well as industrial partners and interested local authorities, to exchange views and take stock of recently acquired knowledge, impacts and opportunities with stakeholders representing societal interests.

Two sessions are available:

  • the 17 November The afternoon will be devoted to recent findings from methane research,
  • the 18 November The morning will be devoted to the links between methane research and society at large: partnerships with industry, the service sector and local authorities; national and European regulatory aspects; and so on.

If you would like to propose an oral presentation (15 minutes) or a poster for these sessions, please submit an abstract on the ’Submit” and to register on the “registration” page before 3 July 2026. If you do not submit an abstract, you can simply apply to register on the “registration“?

This call is open to a wide range of national communities working on methane: researchers, engineers, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, private-sector partners, members of public bodies, project managers, etc.

Presentations may be delivered in French or English.
