The Pôle Mer Méditerranée is organising the event, in collaboration with Ifremer, Sea & One Health the 1st October 2026 in Montpellier, in partnership with the Montpellier PUI and the Rhône-Méditerranée-Corse Water Agency.

Climate change, pollution, loss of biodiversity, changing patterns of use and new balances between human activities and the natural environment: Mediterranean coastal regions are now facing major environmental, health, economic and societal challenges.

Through the One Health approach, this event will provide a forum for dialogue between researchers, businesses, managers, professional sectors and public bodies, with a view to pooling expertise, strengthening cooperation between science, innovation and local communities, and collectively developing responses to the challenges facing the Mediterranean coastline.

Stakeholders from the worlds of research, innovation and socio-economics: come and share your knowledge, your experiences and your solutions to challenges whose urgency and interconnection have been highlighted more than ever by recent heatwaves.
