Abstract

This memoir brings together my teaching, supervisory and research activities since I took up my post as Senior Lecturer at the University of Toulon. My teaching activities take place in the Chemistry Department of the University's Science and Technology Department. My research activities focus on several areas. Firstly, the monitoring and dynamics of inorganic contaminants in the water column and sediments, which represent a major part of the projects I have carried out and continue to carry out. Next, the manuscript details the transfer of contaminants to different types of organisms, as well as my research into the development of new tools for detecting inorganic contaminants in water. Finally, the thesis focuses on my research into new contamination vectors such as microplastics, and their role in the dissemination of metal contamination. In conclusion, these various themes are taken up and put into perspective in the research project I propose to carry out at the university.
