Since December 1, 2018, the MIO has welcomed two new researchers:

The objective of the NCWC is to assess the campaign requests of coastal vessels and to ensure that the request is relevant to the ship time requested and the operations carried out. These evaluations are carried out in the presence of representatives of the various fleet user organisations and fleet operators.

As part of the "Mistral" workshop, a special session was devoted to our colleague, Cédric Garnier, who left us in May 2018. The exercise was not easy but Stéphane Mounier and Benjamin Oursel managed to evoke their colleague and friend, Cédric Garnier with a lot of emotion but also humour. They recalled the many actions, programmes and research projects in which Cédric was involved and underlined his scientific rigour, his work force, his taste for collective work, his passion for his profession as a teacher-researcher.
